2018/19 has been a great season so far for the U9s. We started the season with less than 15 boys but our numbers have grown steadily every week and we now have 35 boys on the team. Our coaching team of Graham, Paul A, Paul T, Richard and Alastair supported by Ronan run fun training sessions on Wednesday evenings with matches on Saturday mornings. The emphasis is on enjoyment and the boys having fun while learning the basis of rugby. We introduced uncontested scrums and lineouts this year and we can already see future forwards and backs in the making.

We’ve played lots of matches this year and the boys are looking forward showing off their skills at the Old Belvedere blitz in April. The boys and coaches are also looking forward to our fun end of season bootcamp in Wexford at the end of the season.
