With a mixed bag of results in their Leinster League they struggled at times to field. However, their support for the Firsts is vital to the Club. They had some very good results the best of which was the game away to Railway Union where they put 53 points on the opposition. Coach Dave O’Sullivan fell into the fatal trap of being a man short in their first away match to Cill Dara. He donned the jersey and came a cropper with a dislocated shoulder. That didn’t deter him from approaching the whole season on a positive note.  One of the features of the season was the home game against Cill Dara where Captain Alan O’Connor got a serious injury and went down behind the posts. He was there for some time with local assistance helping out. It was noted that he eventually walked to the Dressing Room. What was even more notable was his dramatic emergence from the Dressing Room at pace as he ran onto the pitch. A miracle.
