To all those who do not know Fred Forster died on the 27TH November last at the age of 85. He had recently been in a car crash and was not able to fully recover back to good health.

On behalf of Victoria Forster Past President of Newbridge RFC and wife of the late Frederick Forster RIP. (Victoria was the first female President of a rugby club in Ireland)

I was asked to relay the following information to all in members of Newbridge RFC and the friends of Fred and Victoria in the Newbridge area as follows:-

Fred’s ashes will be interred in Fred’s mother grave in Toem Co Tipperary, following Mass in the Church of our Lady of Fatima, Cappawhite Co Tipperary. At 11:00am on Friday 17th January 2020.

A coach will depart from (Camelot) No.5 the Great Southern, Newbridge, Co Kildare at 09:00am to arrive for Mass in Cappawhite.

Following burial of Fred’s ashes and refreshments afterwards, the Coach will return Newbridge leaving at 4:00pm

Victoria invites anyone who wishes can travel on the coach (There are seats available) to contact Ollie Delaney on 087/2381208.

On Saturday 18THJanuary Victoria will host a get together to honor Fred in Newbridge RFC. Rosetown. Athgarvan at 2:00pm. Sharp.

A hot and cold buffet and Irish ballad duo will be held to reminisce on their happy times with their many friends in the Newbridge.

Victoria invites all their neighbors and friends also members and players of Newbridge RFC to come and view memorabilia and the overhead slide shows.
