Thursday 23rd March, 2017 - Newbridge Minis to star at Aviva

Newbridge Under 12 Girls Mini team will be taking part in a match against

Kilkenny on 1st April in the Aviva Stadium at half time during the Leinster

v Wasps ERCCQuarter Final. This is a big honour for our Mini Girls which

is well deserved after their hard work. We wish all the players and their

coaches ​every success and enjoyment. WELL DONE 

Newbridge Under 9s together with coaches, parents and supporters are

also attending the Leinster v Wasps ERCC Quarter Final on 1st April

as part of the One Province initiative. There could be as many as 80 in

the group. Look out for the Black & Yellow in the crowd! The Girls are

sure of good "home town" support!

Thursday 31st August, 2017 - Girls Rugby

There is Tag Rugby for girls aged 9 to 14 in Rosetown each Monday evening at 7.00pm. Players should bring boots and gum shields from now on as we are into the rugby season proper. Support has been very good to date so let's build on that.

Saturday 2nd September, 2017 - Girls Rugby

Girls rugby started back on Saturday 2nd September in Rosetown. Newbridge will have Under 10 and Under 12 plus a new Under 14 squad is being developed. This is a great time to get involved with a new sport and a new group of players. Any girls thinking about trying rugby as a team sport should come out. You will be made very welcome by all involved.
Training in Rosetown through September will be on Saturdays at 10.00am and on Wednesdays at 6.30pm. We will also be continuing in Rosetown Girls Tag Rugby on Monday evening at 7.00pm. There will be a Club Open Day on Saturday 9th September. More detail to follow.

Sunday 9th April, 2017 - Girls Under 12 Rugby Blitz Festival at Terenure RFC

On Sunday 9th April Newbridge's Under 12 Girls competed in a Rugby Blitz Festival at Terenure RFC. Another memorable occasion for these players which they all enjoying, whilst also playing some great rugby. Below are photographs of the Under 12 Girls at Terenure.

Saturday 9th September, 2017 - Girls Rugby

On the morning of the Family Fun Day in Rosetown on 9th September Newbridge Girls team had a great first game of the season, a friendly against Naas. Smiles and fun even in the rain! Training is back on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm and Saturday morning at 10.00am. All girls are very welcome, especially beginners! Newbridge will be running teams for Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14.

Girls Tag Rugby finished up for 2017 on Monday 11th September after a great summer of fun and enjoyment. Well done to all who took part and especially the organisers.​
